The cards on your home page
Your home page in Sunny Workplace® opens with a stack of cards. Each card is one action: the thing most worth doing next, based on what you and your team have already done. Cards appear and clear on their own as you finish setup and your team starts checking in, so the stack changes from week to week, and managers and employees see different cards.
Why the cards change
- Each card tracks one task. Completing it clears the card, and clearing a card can unlock the next one.
- A card you ignore moves toward the back of the stack, and after long enough it leaves on its own. An ignored card never blocks progress: completed, dismissed, and expired all count the same for unlocking what comes next.
What managers see
Setup cards come first, and several can show at once:
- Connect Slack or Teams. Shows from day one unless you connected during onboarding, and comes back if the app is uninstalled.
- Take the Social Battery® assessment. Shows from day one. Details: “What is the Social Battery® assessment?”
- Onboard your team. Appears once you’ve cleared your first card, and stays until at least 40% of your team has signed up. Details: “Inviting your team (and how to frame it).”
- Review your Team Vitals™ data. Appears on Fridays once your team’s Midweek Check-in data is in. Details: “The Friday digest for managers.”
- The first team experience, ‘Getting Started’ (an introduction to Sunny) is available on day one.
- The second team experience, ‘Energizing our Work’ (a 30 min workshop) unlocks when you finish ‘Getting Started’ or clear your setup cards, whichever comes first.
- A second and a third team experience follow, each about a week apart.
- Once your team completes three Midweek Check-in cycles, a Team Vitals™ workshop unlocks. After you run it, the card shows one team experience recommendation per week, personalized for your team and delivered on the day you chose. Details: “Your weekly recommendation, explained.”
What employees see
- The first card is always today’s ask: a Weekly Kickoff on Monday, a Midweek Check-in on Wednesday. Completing it clears the card for the day, and the next one appears the following weekday. Details: “When check-ins happen.”
- Setup cards cover anything you skipped during signup: taking the Social Battery® assessment, and connecting Slack or Teams. The connect card shows only if your manager connected Slack or Teams, and its button matches whichever one your manager uses.
- When nothing is left to do, a caught-up card shows. Sunny doesn’t ask twice in one day.
