What is Sunny Workplace®?

Sunny Workplace® is an employee engagement platform that builds high-performing, engaged teams by embedding modern team building into the flow of work. It measures how a team is doing through two distinct check-ins each week, then gives the team’s manager one ready-to-run team activity per week based on what the team needs most. It runs inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, or email and the web app.How Sunny worksSunny runs a continuous loop: understand the team, act on what it needs, and measure whether our recommendation worked.

Discover

Every team member takes the Social Battery® assessment when they join, which is made up of three parts (Personality, Propensity, and Capacity) and takes about ten minutes. It shows what tends to energize and drain each person at work, and gives teammates a shared reference for how to work well together.

Measure

Weekly kick-off (Monday, two questions plus an optional written reason) and a five-question Midweek check-in (Wednesday, answered on a 1 to 5 scale) feed the team’s Team Vitals™: five research-backed signals of team health, reported as team averages, never individual scores.

Act

Each week, Sunny recommends one Team Experience to the manager: a 5 to 10 minute Team Boost for the team’s regular meeting, or a 30 to 45 minute Interactive Workshop once a month, chosen to strengthen the vital the team scored lowest on.

Support

AI Team Support, powered by Sunny IQ, offers guidance to anyone on the team, from acting on a check-in to preparing for a diffI’dicult conversation. How your team interacts with Sunny

Employees

Employees respond to their two check-ins a week, which arrive at 10am local time. Both are optional (there are no streaks, penalties, or reports about who skipped). Employees also receive a team summary on Tuesday and Friday showing how teammates are doing.

Managers

Managers receive team check-in summaries on Tuesday and Thursday, a digest of the week’s Team Vitals on Friday, and one recommended Team Experience per week, timed to arrive before the team’s regular meeting. The experience runs inside that existing meeting and there are no separate sessions to schedule.

Org admins

Org admins manage membership, roles, and integrations from Organization Settings, and see org-level dashboards: adoption metrics and organization-wide Team Vitals.Who sees whatWeekly kickoff check-ins are shared with the team and manager by individual name. Midweek check-in answers are never shown individually: managers see team averages only. Org admins and HR see aggregated adoption and team health data, never individual responses.
