The Friday digest for managers

The Friday digest is the weekly summary of your team’s Midweek Check-in results. It arrives every Friday at 2:00pm your local time, in Slack or Teams, or by email if neither is connected. It shows a team score for each of the five Team Vitals™, how many teammates responded, and a prompt to review your team’s insight.

What’s in the digest

For each of the five vitals (Support, Energy, Alignment, Recognition, and Safety):

  • The team’s average score out of 5 (for example, 3.8/5).
  • A high, mid, or low label: high is 4.0 to 5.0, mid is 2.6 to 3.9, and low is 1.0 to 2.5.
  • The change since last week (for example, “▲ 0.4 vs. last week”). This appears from your second digest onward.

Below the scores:

  • How many teammates responded (for example, “4 of 6 teammates responded”). Use this to judge how much weight the week’s scores deserve.
  • A button to review your team’s insights.

A week’s scores only count when enough of your team responds.

Why didn’t my digest arrive?

  • Few teammates answered this week. The digest is held when responses are too thin. It returns once enough of your team responds.
  • You’re looking in email. Once Slack or Teams is connected, notifications arrive there instead of email. Check the Slack or Teams app. Details: “Installing the Sunny app for Slack and Teams”.
  • It’s Friday, but before 2:00pm. The digest is sent at 2:00pm your local time.
